Unsure if the added Sonalert Audible Signal / speaker unit was an add-on or original to this model ?, This item works. I left it going for about 20 second until just couldn't stand any more then turned off. No super loud, but it does detect motion and will sound with an audible signal. Vintage JCE Res Alarm MD-1A Motion Detector W/ Sonalert Audible Signal, This is an interesting item - likely used inside a business before high tech took over.
When tested the signal kept going until I power unit off and back on again. No super loud though. So I do not know if this has an automatic shut-off after it been triggered.
